From that day forward, we made small adjustments to our evening routine, choosing earlier swimming hours and being more mindful of the noise around us. These simple changes had very little impact on our lives but meant a great deal to our neighbors. Over time, the relationship between our families became warmer, and the little boy who once communicated through a note began greeting us with cheerful waves and smiles.
