Dave Mason, the English guitarist, singer-songwriter, and co-founder of the influential band Traffic, has passed away at the age of 79. Born in Worcester, England, Mason rose to prominence in the late 1960s as a founding member of Traffic alongside Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, and Chris Wood. Mason contributed to some of the group’s most memorable songs, including “Feelin’ Alright?” and “Hole in My Shoe,” both of which remain widely recognized today.
